As a busy professional, finding time to create meaningful connections over food can be challenging, but crafting gourmet Labneh is an effortless way to share something special with those you care about.

This exquisite Middle Eastern soft cheese, made from high-quality organic Greek yogurt, is not only delicious but also packed with proteins, healthy fats, calcium, phosphorus, vitamin A, and potassium. Additionally, Labneh contains trace amounts of essential vitamins like B12 and riboflavin, along with an abundance of beneficial bacteria that promote a healthy gut—making it an ideal addition to both your dining experience and nutritional regimen.

Ingredients
- 1 cup of whole-milk, organic Greek yoghurt
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- Cheesecloth or muslin for straining

*For larger gatherings, simply double the quantities as needed.*

Method
1. Firstly in a mixing bowl, stir the yoghurt and salt until well combined.
2. Next, transfer the mixture to one or two layers of cheesecloth, using two layers if the yoghurt is thinner.
3. Gather the corners of the cheesecloth to form a pouch and secure it by tying it to a wooden spoon.
4. Position the wooden spoon across the rim of a deep bowl, allowing the pouch to hang without touching the bottom.
5. Lastly, refrigerate for 24 hours to let the whey drain into the bowl, which can later be repurposed for soups/ stews or as a nutritious treat for pets.
6. Your exquisite Labneh is now ready! Serve it elegantly atop roasted or cooked vegetables, spread it on artisanal gluten-free bread, or enhance it with herbs and spices for a delightful dip.

This versatile Labneh will not only delight your taste buds but also support your wellness goals, especially if you're a fast oxidiser seeking optimal energy levels.

The rich nutrient profile, including phosphorus and vitamin A, aids in maintaining your body's pH levels and supports healthy vision and immune function, while the beneficial bacteria foster a balanced gut.

Enjoy the indulgence of homemade Labneh and create lasting memories around the table with this sophisticated yet simple addition to your culinary repertoire.
